This role is key to expanding international developer support, focusing on educating and mentoring about Leo language and Aleo's platform. Your contributions will be instrumental in nurturing a skilled and passionate developer base worldwide.
Your Mission:
Educational Collaboration: Partner with local event ambassadors to conduct zkworkshops, focusing on Aleo deployment, mastering Leo programming, and dApp development.
Technical Mastery: Keep abreast of Leo language and Aleo tech stack developments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date knowledge transfer.
Brand Representation: Promote Aleo at local conferences and hackathons, strengthening Aleo's presence in the developer community.
Developer Support: Guide local grantees through their Aleo development journey, offering expert advice and support.
Local Language Adaptation: Translate and adapt content for non-English speaking communities, enhancing local engagement and understanding.
Community Building: Establish a network of Aleo enthusiasts and developers, becoming the regional Aleo authority.
Feedback Loop: Offer constructive feedback on APIs/SDKs, aiding the engineering and product teams in improvement and innovation.
Developer Advocacy: Act as the primary Aleo and Leo resource, providing support and insights on Discord and other platforms.

Qualifications:
Proficiency in Leo programming and experience deploying on the Aleo platform.
Hands-on experience building dApps on Aleo, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of the platform.
(Preferred) Being a technical member of an Aleo grant-recipient team.
Strong interpersonal skills, with a talent for teaching and engaging diverse groups.
Self-driven, with effective independent working and resource utilization skills.
Preferred Attributes:
Passion for privacy technologies and the blockchain sector.
Experience in educational roles, adept at simplifying complex technical concepts.
Eagerness to explore and master new Aleo products (SDKs, Leo, etc).
Offer:
Part-time commitment of 15 hours monthly, with competitive monthly remuneration.
Initial 3-month term with potential for extension.

Expected Deliverables:
Update Developer Documentation: Regularly refresh and enhance the documentation to keep pace with the latest developments in Leo language and Aleo's tech stack, ensuring that information is accessible, accurate, and user-friendly for developers worldwide.
Build Educational Resources for Developer Onboarding and Support: Design and create comprehensive educational materials such as tutorials, guides, FAQs, and best practice documents to facilitate developer onboarding and ongoing support. These resources should cover various aspects, including Aleo deployment, mastering Leo programming, and dApp development.
Maintain a GitHub Repository for the Community: Establish and manage a central GitHub repository that serves as a repository for code samples, development tools, and educational content. This repository should be regularly updated to reflect the latest in Aleo development and serve as a resource for developers to contribute to and learn from.
Develop, Test, and Present zkWorkshops: Craft and refine workshop content focused on zero-knowledge proofs, Leo programming, and Aleo platform capabilities. These workshops should be designed for clarity and effectiveness, tested to ensure they meet learning objectives, and then presented at various events (both online and in-person) to educate and engage developers.
Community Engagement and Support: Actively participate in developer forums, discussions, and social platforms such as Discord to offer support, answer questions, and provide insights. Building a strong, engaged community around Aleo is a key deliverable for a Developer Ambassador.
Local Language Content Adaptation: Translate existing content and adapt new educational materials to cater to non-English speaking communities. This involves not just language translation but also cultural and technical adaptation to ensure relevance and accessibility.
Feedback Collection and Reporting: Establish a structured process for collecting, analyzing, and reporting feedback from the developer community on Aleo's APIs, SDKs, and overall developer experience. This feedback loop is crucial for informing product improvements and innovations.
Event Representation and Advocacy: Represent Aleo at local and international conferences, hackathons, and meetups. This includes not only attending but also possibly speaking or leading sessions to advocate for Aleo's technology and gather interest from potential developers.
Grant Program Support and Promotion: Engage with Aleo's Developer Grants program by participating in grant reviews, connecting potential applicants with the Partnerships team, and promoting the program to foster development within the Aleo ecosystem.
